Disable the Vanguard service
If something doesn’t work as expected and you don’t want to uninstall Valorant, the Vanguard service can be disabled. You can disable it directly from the console or go into Windows’ Services manager to do so. To do the latter, open a CMD on a higher level and type:
sc config vgc start= disabledThen restart your computer, and you’re all set.
However, you will be unable to play Valorant as a result of this. If you want to play, you’ll need to restart your PC after re-enabling Vanguard with the following command:
sc config vgc start= systemUninstall Vanguard
Last but not least, both Valorant and Riot Vanguard can be uninstalled. Make sure to remove the Riot Vanguard service as well. It’s probably in C:Program FilesRiot Vanguardvgc.exe.
