When using VirtualBox the default resolutions are limited to just a few common resolutions. To have a native resolution, you’ll need to properly install the Guest Additions. But if you do not want to trouble yourself to install in an environment you are not familiar with, here is a way to make ubuntu full screen in VM Virtual Box without installing anything.
- Take note that upon pressing RIGHT Ctrl + F of your keyboard, you can enter in a full screen mode but, the resolutions is poor.
- Click View then, click Scaled mode.
3. Click Switch
4. Go to Settings
5. Go to Display then change the resolution to 1920×1200 and click apply changes.
There you have it, even though it has lower resolution compared to your native resolution, it saves you the hassle and trouble of installation.
