What is google Lens?

Google Lens is an AI-powered technology that combines your smartphone camera and deep machine learning to not only identify but also comprehend an object in front of the camera lens and provide activities like scanning, translation, and buying.

You can use Google Lens to point your phone at anything, like a certain tower, and then ask Google Assistant what that item is. Not only will you be given the answer, but you’ll also be given recommendations depending on the object, such as the direction from your current position.

Google Lens will recognise restaurants, clubs, cafes, and bars, too, presenting you with a pop-up window showing reviews, address details and opening times. It’s the ability to recognise everyday objects that’s impressive. It will recognise a hand and suggest the thumbs up emoji, which is a bit of fun, but point it at a drink, and it will try and figure out what it is.

Lens was one of Google’s major announcements in 2017, yet it was only available on the Google Pixel when it released. Since then, Google Lens has been added to the majority of Android devices; if you don’t have it, you may get it from Google Play.
