From the previous post I discussed there the different types of Web Scraping tools. Today I will show you how to easily set up a web scraping tool such as Web Scraper. If you haven’t read it before then I will add the link at the end of the post.
- Go to your web browser and type ‘webscraper.io‘, then press enter. This will take you to the homepage of the Web Scaper website.
- Or simply follow this link: https://webscraper.io/
- You can either click the ‘Install’ button at the upper right corner, or the ‘Install Chrome Plugin’ in the bottom left side. Both will redirect you to another tab where the installation process will begin.
- Click the ‘Add to Brave’ or ‘Add to Chrome’, depending on your browser.
- A dialog box should appear like this one, click the ‘Add extension’ button.
- You will then be redirected to the Thank you page of the Website such as this one.
- In order to check the extension, go to the browser menu located at the upper right corner of the browser. Select ‘More Tools’ and then ‘Developer Tools’.
- Inside the developer tools you should be able to see the tab ‘Web Scraper’.
